Founded
in 1961, the Sacramento County Taxpayers League is comprised of
a diverse group of business, professional and industrial organizations,
together with prominent local individuals and residents of every
age and social strata, who are greatly concerned with our community
and the most effective use of our tax dollars. The League supports
full implementation of Propositions 13, 62 and 218, the Gann Spending
Limit, sunsetting of the City of Sacramento Utility User Tax, the
privatization of some County and City functions, and employment
of outside, impartial budget analysts at every level of government.
The League opposes excessive developer fees, circumvention of Proposition
13, and any sales tax increases.
