Founded in 1961, the Sacramento Taxpayers Association is comprised of a diverse group of business, professional and industrial organizations, together with prominent local individuals and residents of every age and social strata, who are greatly concerned with our community and the most effective use of our tax dollars. The Association supports full implementation of Propositions 13, 62 and 218, the Gann Spending Limit and the privatization of some County and City functions.
If you are concerned about these and other tax related issues and about how elected officials are spending your tax dollars, please join your friends and business associates by becoming a member today.
A Speaker for Your Group
The Taxpayers Association has speakers available to talk to your
group regarding current, and past, taxpayer concerns involving
local, regional and statewide issues. Just call us or
send an email.
Each year the Association puts on a special annual event, featuring a
keynote speaker well known to Sacramento residents. The Keynote
speaker for the May 16, 2013 Annual Dinner will be Brian
Jones, Chair of the Assembly Republican Caucus. The dinner will
be at the Sacramento Marriot Hotel starting with a no-host bar at
6:30 and dinner beginning at 7pm.
Last year's dinner was on April 26, 2012. Our Keynote Speaker was retired Sheriff John McGinness.
